Our importer, Verdoni Imports, started in July, 1996. Their plan was to offer Italian wines of value, introducing new estates to American clients. Sofia wine brings these estates to Arizona. Museum is designed to be the crowning achievement of old plantings of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.

This sophisticated modern red is one of the richest wines of Emilia-Romagna and will age gracefully for a decade or more.

Purple to deep ruby colored, a rich fruity nose with nuances of plums and forest berries, backed by a full, dry taste and a long finish.

Serve with elegant meat dishes, duck, highly seasoned poultry and rich cheese dishes.

70% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon
Only 3,300 bottles produced. Fewer than 100 cases available in the U.S. Le Giuncare won an “Oscar” for outstanding quality and value from the Gambero Rosso Wine Guide, as well as two glasses. A panel in England voted Le Giuncare Italy’s best white wine.

A lustrous, pale straw color with greenish reflections, tropical fragrances in the bouquet, a dry, full soft, round taste with a lingering, complex finish.

Food Affinities: Rich seafood preparations. Poultry or light veal dishes. Use as you would a fine white Burgundy or a California Chardonnay.
Characteristics: A rich, deep ruby red, with spicy hints of small forest berries in the nose, a soft, round, well-balanced, dry taste and a pleasant finish.

Strong and vigorous, sincere and honest, “Tatone” wine reflects the authoritative character of a grandfather.

Purple to ruby colored, with an aroma of ripe cherries, a pleasant, soft yet firm taste and clean finish. Generous and elegant for a wine of this price.

Excellent with pasta with Ragu, meat sauces and spicy dishes, barbequed and roasted meat and poultry, steaks, chops and hamburgers, sharp cheeses lamb and game dishes.

One of Italy’s most carefully made wines!

A deep, intense ruby hue, complex fragrances of mountain berries, ripe cherries, and cacao. A dry rich taste with nuances of licorice, prunes, currants and a lingering concentrated finish.

Food Affinities: Noble preparations of red meats, steaks, chops, rack of lamb, aged cheese.  Truly a wine of meditation.

Grapes: 100% Montepulciano
Aged in traditional oak barrels for about 5 years.  Develops in the bottle for at least a decade.  Many awards and acclaim in Europe.

Rich, ruby color, warm, supple, ripe nose with nuances of fruits, figs and prunes.  A full, concentrated, velvety taste and very long finish with touches of almond and vanilla.

Foods: Steaks, chops, game dishes, aged cheeses, sausages, spicy or seasoned sauces.

Grapes: Corvina, Molinara, Rondinella.
